In the packaging of pack 3 we have the Carapuça Madeirense, an iconic cap from Madeira and used in the sec. 18th and 19th century, it is a descendant of medieval Portuguese caps and hoods.. Originally used as protection from rain or sun, today it is assumed as a traditional emblem and is used only as an adornment. Indispensable in the typical Madeiran costume, this cap also gave rise to the popular expression: “enfiar a carapuça”, so well known in Portuguese slang..

Madeira’s Banana has its origin certified by the European Union as an agricultural product from an Outermost Region. It gives energy and takes care of the body like nothing else, as it is rich in sucrose, glucose, fructose, fiber, potassium, magnesium and several vitamins from groups A, B and C. The main characteristic that distinguishes Madeira bananas from all others bananas is its flavor, sweet and intense.

Clementine, a medium-sized fruit with a spherical and flat shape, with yellow-orange skin and medium thickness. The pulp of this fruit is of medium consistency, with 10 to 11 buds and a pleasant taste. It has no seeds, or few, and the juice content varies between 37% and 47%. The ripening season runs from November to January.

Passion fruit belongs to the Passiflora family and grows on climbing plants. Passion fruit has a leathery, yellowish-green rind. Its gelatinous pulp is orange or yellowish and contains edible black seeds. In South America, Catholic missionaries called it the “fruit of passion”. They considered that the flowers of the plant resembled the crown of thorns placed on the head of Christ.

Thin, colorful and shiny skin, high juice content, sweetness and unique organoleptic characteristics are some of the characteristics of orange from the Algarve. The Algarve has a combination of elements such as soil and climate, which make it possible to produce citrus fruit with unique characteristics. More than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 18ºC make it one of the best regions in the world for orange production.
