Vanilla Macarons filled with meia.dúzia® White Chocolate spread with Algarve Orange, Yuzu & Iyokan. A recipe with elegance!

Who can resist to some lovely French macarons? These elegant vanilla-flavoured meringue cookies go perfectly well with the sweet and citric meia.dúzia® White Chocolate spread with Algarve Orange, Yuzu and Iyokan. A delightful sweet treat that everyone will love!

Ingredients:

-120g almond flour
-120g icing sugar
-3 egg whites
-135g granulated sugar
-½ vanilla pod
-meia.dúzia® White Chocolate spread with Algarve Orange, Yuzu and Iyokan (75g)

Preparation:

Add the almond flour and icing sugar to a food processor and pulse for a few seconds. Sift this mixture to a large bowl and set aside.
Using a hand mixer beat the egg whites until they get foamy. Add half of the granulated sugar (67,5g) and keep mixing until they form soft peaks. Add the remaining sugar. Using a sharp knife cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape the seed inside. Add the vanilla seeds to the egg whites and mix for a couple more minutes.
Gently fold the almond flour and icing sugar mixture with the egg whites. Add the batter to a pipping bag. On a tray lined with parchment paper form little circles (with 3,5cm diameter approximately).
Set aside and let the macarons rest for 1 hour.
Meanwhile, past 30 minutes, preheat the oven to 130ºC. Bake the macarons for 15 minutes and allow them to cool completely. Fill the shells with the meia.dúzia® White Chocolate spread with Algarve Orange, Yuzu and Iyokan and finish the macarons with some golden dust (optional).
