Duck Breast with Orange Jam with Madeira Wine - by Lígia Santos - Portugal's 1st Masterchef

By the hands of Lígia Santos comes this noble recipe, where the Duck is accompanied by the Orange jam with Madeira Wine, culminating in a Proudly Portuguese flavours experience!

Ingredients (1 person):

1 Duck breast
2 Garlic cloves
Marine salt q.s.
Black pepper q.s.
Olive Oil q.s.
Sweet and sour sauce of orange and ginger
1dl of Soy sauce
5g of Grated ginger
20ml of Rice vinegar
1 meia.dúzia® Orange Jam with 'Madeira' wine
Black pepper q.s.

Preparation method:

Slice the duck breast skin.
Spice it with the crushed garlic, salt, black pepper and with an olive oil drizzle.
In a sauté, sear the duck breast starting by the skin side.
Sweet and sour sauce of orange and ginger: In a bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
Serve the duck breast sliced with sweet and sour sauce and the meia.dúzia® Orange jam with Madeira Wine.
